Pricing questions

The ones chairs ask first.

Why a flat fee instead of a percentage?: Because taking a share of the pool would make us a participant in the wagering. A flat software fee keeps ParMutuel out of the money entirely, keeps your club's takeout with your club, and keeps the credits model clean. It also means your cost doesn't climb when your members get enthusiastic.
What counts as one tournament?: One named competition with one field, up to the plan's day limit — a member-guest with a practice round, three competition rounds and a horse race is one Member-Guest tournament. A separate club championship the following month is another.
Can we pass the fee to members?: Many clubs fold it into the entry fee or fund it from takeout. On a 48-team member-guest the Member-Guest plan works out to about $5 per player. That's your decision and your money; we just invoice the club.
What happens if we go over the message allowance?: Additional texts and emails are billed at cost — about 1¢ per message, never marked up. We'll show your usage on the admin dashboard, and we'll never stop a transactional ticket or results message mid-tournament.
Is there a contract?: Per-tournament plans are pay-as-you-go. The Season Pass is an annual subscription that renews unless you cancel; cancel any time before renewal.
Do you charge per member or per staff login?: No. Unlimited members, admins and table staff on every plan.
Are Golf Genius or Twilio fees extra?: Your Golf Genius subscription is yours. Text and email delivery is included up to the allowance above, and billed at cost after that.
Can we try it first?: Yes. We're launching with a small number of founding clubs and will run a live pilot pool with your committee on a demo call. Ask about founding-club pricing when you book.
